Vetting Checks:
* Right to Work in the UK (No Limitations)
* Satisfactory references covering the last 2 years of employment/education
* Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child/Child & Adult) on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
* GCSE or equivalent level, including at least at Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Maths
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant Diploma (or equivalent) is desirable

You’ll be supporting pupils across both Primary and Secondary departments, working with children of varying abilities to make a meaningful difference in their daily school life.

The Role:
* Safeguard pupils’ well-being by following relevant statutory guidance along with school policies, procedures and practice
* Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
* Provide 1:1/group/whole-class support across different age groups
* Support pupils with various abilities, additional learning/behavioural needs
* Help to maintain a positive, respectful and inclusive learning environment
* Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, focused learning environment (ensuring school policies are followed)
* Communicate effectively with students and staff
About You:
* Experience working with children within an educational setting or similar (minimum of 3 months of experience)
* Good Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills
* Excellent verbal communication skills and active listening skills
* Great organisation skills
* A proactive and resilient attitude
