Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Male Teaching Assistant to work in a Liverpool secondary school rated 'Good' by Ofsted.
The school are looking for a Male Teaching Assistant to work with a male pupil who has been assessed, and it is felt that a male would be better suited to the child's needs. The role is to start immediately and is a long term position. It is to work Monday - Friday , 8.20am - 3.15pm, term time only.
Your role would be to :-
Work under the direction and guidance of the Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator.
Support the student with their academic learning as well as developing their social, emotional and mental health
Establish a productive and supportive relationship
Set high expectations and act as a role model
Support with the pupils' behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
The successful candidate will ideally bring with them, experience working with young people with challenging behaviour.

Pay £100 a day
Requirements:
Relevant experience working with children who have special educational needs is essential.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated compassion and patience.
Ability to build strong connections with students, colleagues, and parents.
Positive attitude and genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential.
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one.
Full and complete 10-year career history
Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
