Job Description
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to take ownership of financial operations for our retail division. This is a hands-on role covering everything from month-end reporting to stakeholder analysis and audit prep.

Work closely with senior leadership and gain exposure to strategic decision-making.Description
Management Accountant (Immediate Start)
Prepare monthly management accounts (accruals, prepayments, journals).
Maintain fixed asset schedules and calculate depreciation.
Produce monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
Manage ledgers and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Post daily cash receipts and reconcile with eCommerce platforms.
Perform weekly bank reconciliations.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Support VAT returns and HMRC compliance.
Assist with year-end audit preparation.
Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Profile
Management Accountant (Immediate Start)
Experience in a similar role, ideally within an SME or standalone environment.
Strong grasp of management accounting principles.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Confident communicator across all levels of the business.
