Description The Role: Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of a broad range of financial and management reporting responsibilities, helping shape the financial direction of the business. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment where your input really makes a difference. Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts, including consolidations and commentary. Tracking and reporting on key operational metrics such as tons processed, margin per deal, and asset performance. Producing weekly and monthly financial updates, forecasts, and budgets. Monitoring and analysing costs and performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Tracking and reviewing pricing models to support profitability. Working closely with the Financial Controller to make strategic, data-driven recommendations that support growth and efficiency. Providing insight and suggestions for cost-saving and process improvement initiatives. Profile QBE, Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA/CIMA) Management Accountant with strong analytical and reporting skills. Confident working with large volumes of data and turning numbers into meaningful insights. Strong Excel and systems experience, with excellent attention to detail. Commercially minded with the ability to challenge and influence. Proactive, curious, and comfortable in a dynamic and evolving environment.
