I am recruiting on behalf of an education client, who are looking for an interim Management Accountant. The position focuses on delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making processes
Client Details
My client are an education organisation based in Stockton. They are looking for a Management Accountant to join them on a full time, and temporary basis, until the end of March 2026.
Description
Prepare and review monthly management accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing detailed analysis and insights.
Maintain and reconcile financial records in accordance with organisational policies.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports for stakeholders and external bodies.
Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational guidelines.
Collaborate with various departments to provide financial support and advice.
Contribute to process improvements within the Accounting & Finance department.Profile
The successful Management Accountant will have:
A recognised qualification or actively studying in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience in the field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial systems and software.
Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
An understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Job Offer
