Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a growing international group, supporting a portfolio of overseas subsidiaries across Europe, the Middle East and beyond. This role offers genuine breadth and exposure, combining hands-on management accounting with involvement in group reporting, treasury, and cash management activities.
Working as part of a collaborative finance function, you’ll take ownership for the month-end close and reporting process for several overseas entities. You’ll ensure accuracy of the general ledger, prepare insightful management accounts, and provide meaningful analysis to senior management and investors. Alongside this, you’ll play a key role in managing cash flow and treasury requirements across the group, supporting the delivery of 13-week forecasts and providing visibility over group liquidity and funding needs.
This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong Management Accountant who enjoys variety, ownership, and international exposure.
What will the Management Accountant role involve?
Full ownership of management accounts for allocated overseas companies, including month-end close, journals, reconciliations and reporting
Partner with business managers and finance leads to produce quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
Oversee and review accounts prepared by local or outsourced providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury oversight across the group, supporting weekly reporting to the Board and investors
Support annual audits and statutory filing requirements, working closely with local advisors
Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with relevant experience
Background in a group, international or multi-site environment
Strong Excel and systems skills; confident working with multiple currencies
Organised, analytical, and proactive, with the ability to manage deadlines and build strong relationships across a matrix structure
