Job Description

Management Accountant - part Time, 3 days a week, Salary £ Negotiable.

East Anglia Care Homes Ltd operated two care homes in Norfolk, Halvergate House in North Walsham and Sutherlands in Wymondham.

It has a fully integrated accounting system . Its accounting software is Pegasus Opera.

This is a new position. We are seeking a Management Accountant to take responsibility for the accounting function.

Responsibilities:

  * Prepare monthly management accounts

  * Prepare annual budgets and investigate variances between budgets and actual.

  * Take responsibility for the day to day accounting function to include payroll, purchases, sales, cashbook, credit control and reconciliations.

  * Liaise with external auditors when applicable

  * Develop relationships with external contacts such as auditors, solicitors and HM Revenue & Customs.

  * Maintain good working relationship with colleagues at both care homes.

  * Monthly report to directors on performance

  * Ensuring the financial function operates efficently.

Skills and qualifications:

  * Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or AAT.)

  * 2-4 years' experience in a management accountant role
