Job Description

Role Title: Management Accountant
 Type: Permanent - Part-Time 32 hours per week
 Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum - pro rata equivalent for part-time
 Hybrid: Office presence required
 Location: Nottinghamshire 

Sellick Partnership are working with a well-established organisation in Nottinghamshire who are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to support financial reporting, business planning and continuous improvement across the organisation.

The responsibilities of the Management Accountant will be:

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial analysis
Complete balance sheet reconciliations
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Analyse costs and identify efficiencies
Produce financial reports for senior stakeholders
Ensure compliance with accounting standards
Assist with audits and statutory reporting
Support finance systems and process improvements
Prepare VAT and other statutory returns
Provide wider support across the finance function 

The ideal candidate for the Management Accountant role will have:

Fully qualified, part qualified or actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ACA or an equivalent qualification (qualified or part qualified candidates are preferred)
Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
The ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
Experience supporting audits and statutory reporting
A proactive approach to improving processes
