About the business
A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing services business based in Alcester as a Management Accountant with a salary of £35,000 – £42,000. You’ll receive full training and study support from the Finance Manager, working within a lively, close-knit team that takes real pride in what they do.
Main Duties:
As a Management Accountant, your main duties include:
* Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts across several group entities
* Managing the full accounting cycle, including journals, accruals, prepayments, inventory and variance analysis
* Producing profit and loss analysis to support wider business performance reviews
* Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness
* Completing intercompany reconciliations across the group
* Producing sales reporting to support commercial decision-making
* Contributing to costing exercises across the business
* Assisting with quarterly and annual audit processes
* Getting involved in projects aimed at improving efficiency and streamlining processes
* Providing support to the wider finance team as required

This role is based full-time from the company’s office in Alcester, where you’ll join a lively and supportive team with a genuinely positive culture. Following successful completion of your probation, you’ll benefit from flexible working hours to help fit the role around your lifestyle.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a similar management accounts role is essential
* Actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent qualification (part qualified), or QBE
* Experience dealing with multi-entity accounts is desirable
* Strong Excel skills with confidence manipulating and analysing data
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
