Management Accountant - 12-18 Month FTC

Salary: Up to £40,000 (Pro Rata)

We're partnering with a forward-thinking SME to recruit a Management Accountant on a 12-18 month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on, varied role offering the opportunity to contribute across the finance function during a period of growth and transformation.
The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for preparing management accounts and financial reporting, while also supporting day-to-day finance operations, including credit control, transactional finance, and banking.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
Budgeting and forecasting support
Cash flow management and reporting
Assist with year-end processes and audit preparation
Oversee and support credit control and accounts receivable functions
Support accounts payable processing and supplier reconciliations
Daily and monthly banking duties, including reconciliations and payment runs
Provide financial insights and commentary to support decision-making
Maintain and improve financial controls and processesAbout You:
Part-qualified or qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience
Strong all-round finance experience in an SME environment
Skilled in both management accounting and transactional finance processes
Proficient with Excel and accounting systems (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyWhat's On Offer:
