Your new company
This is a growing company based in Doncaster, committed to operational excellence and financial transparency. As they have expanded, They are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team.
Your new role
Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
Monitor and report on key financial metrics and KPIs.
Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
Liaise with auditors and assist with year-end processes.
Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.
Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial alignment across departments.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an SME or mid-sized business.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or SAP).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of UK tax regulations and compliance.
Familiarity with ERP systems.
