Job Description
This temporary role is for a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant in the FMCG industry, based in Accrington. The successful candidate will ideally have a background in Accounting & Finance within the FMCG industry.

Description
The Management Accountant role is initially a temporary assignment and will be full time office based in Accrington- Reporting to the Head of Finance Key responsibilities will include:
Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
Material & labour variance analysis - supporting production management in Continuous Improvement initiatives
Weekly and Monthly Performance Reports
Factory cost centre reviews & re-forecasting.
Preparation of accruals and prepayments and BS reconciliations
Analysis of purchase price variance including inflationary effects and recovery tracking
Involvement in preparation of financial forecasts and business plans
Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and update full-year projections.
Work closely with business leaders to provide insightful financial analysis and reportingProfile
In order to apply for the role you should:
Have previous experience in preparing Monthly Management Accounts
Be at least ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
Be able to consider a temporary role initially
Be able to commute full time to Accrington office locationJob Offer
