As the Management Accountant, you will become an integral part of a growing finance team, supporting the group’s expansion through strategic insight and analysis. This is a newly created role with real scope to tailor responsibilities around your strengths and interests, making it an ideal opportunity for someone keen to take ownership, influence key decisions, and progress their career.
Key Responsibilities include
Lead the annual budgeting process, including refinement of the group budget model
Deliver short-term forecasts and periodic reforecasts
Align sales pipeline to P&L recognition
Prepare and present high-quality management information and KPI reporting for board packs
Analyse income streams, customer margins and identify opportunities to enhance profitability
Review and manage overhead costs against budgets
Contribute to strategic projectsThe ideal candidate will bring strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of the key drivers behind business profitability, complemented by advanced analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. They will have proven experience in managing deferred income and recurring revenue streams and be confident in using and implementing data analysis tools to support decision-making.
Excellent communication skills are essential, particularly the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across the business, including those without a finance background.
