Management Accountant - 12-Month FTC - £40,000pa
Location: Banbury (on-site)
Contract: Fixed Term (1 year)
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Morgan McKinley are proud to be representing an exciting business in Banbury to source a Management Accountant to join their diverse and growing Finance Team.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations and deliver insightful management reporting in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong Excel skills are essential - you'll need to be confident working with complex spreadsheets, analysing data, and enhancing existing reports to support business decisions.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare accurate monthly management accounts
Deliver weekly KPI reporting and financial analysis
Manage accruals, prepayments, journals, and reconciliations
Oversee project accounting and cost control
Maintain and improve accounts payable processes and supplier payments
Submit VAT returns and manage bank and credit card reconciliations
Support operational teams with finance queries and reporting
Drive continuous improvement across financial systems and processes
What we're looking for:
3+ years' experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role
Excellent Excel skills - able to build and improve reports
High attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
Sage 200 and SME experience preferred
Proactive, self-motivated, and confident meeting deadlines
