We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join a £20m digital business based in Leeds. This is a PE-backed, rapidly growing company offering a rare opportunity for a skilled Management Accountant to take ownership of financial reporting, cash flow, and business partnering across the organisation.
As Management Accountant, you will report directly to the Finance Director and be responsible for delivering high-quality management accounts, driving process improvements, and building relationships with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

Producing monthly management accounts and re-forecasts for review by the Board.
*
Leading supplier payments, bank reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting.
*
Managing VAT returns, partial exemptions, and EC Sales Lists.
*
Preparing year-end accounts and supporting audit processes.
*
Mentoring and managing two Accounts Technicians.
*
Supporting budgeting and planning with commercial insight and analysis.
*
Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial awareness across the business.
Requirements:
*
Fully qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
*
Proven background as a Management Accountant within a growing SME or digital/tech business.
*
Hands-on experience with Sage (or similar) and strong Excel skills.
*
Confident, proactive communicator with commercial awareness.
