Job Description
Axon Moore are delighted to be exclusively supporting a well-backed manufacturing SME in East Yorkshire that is entering an exciting new chapter—and they’re looking for a Management Accountant to help steer the journey.
You’ll be right at the heart of the action—partnering with leadership, shaping financial strategy, and helping build the finance function for the future.
Responsibilities include:
Own the monthly management accounts process and deliver clear, actionable insight
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across departments
Partner with operational teams to understand performance and cost drivers
Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management
Help implement new systems, controls, and reporting tools as the business scales
Contribute to strategic planning and investment decision-making
Requirements:
Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
Experience in an SME environment or fast-paced, hands-on finance role
Strong understanding of management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
Proficient in Excel and financial modelling
Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and non-finance teamsBefore You Apply
