TXM Recruit are proud to be supporting our client, an ambitious and innovative manufacturing business, in their search for a Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to join a fast-paced accounts team on a fixed-term contract, producing accurate and timely management accounts while supporting the wider business with valuable financial insights.
The Role As a Management Accountant, you will:
Prepare accurate and reliable monthly management accounts and reports.
Investigate variances against budgets and provide detailed analysis.
Manage the month-end process efficiently.
Carry out stock checks and report any reconciliation variances.
Complete monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts.
Support the annual audit process by preparing audit files and liaising with auditors.
Continuously improve financial controls and processes.
Provide financial support and insight to other departments.About You We’re looking for someone who has:
Experience in preparing management accounts and month-end reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain variances and provide solutions.
Knowledge of stock control and reconciliation processes.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
A proactive approach with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
The ability to work collaboratively across departments.
