Job Description
Management Accountant - Harrogate - £32,000 to £35,000
Axon Moore are delighted to be working in collaboration with a high growth company in Harrogate to recruit an ambitious Management Accountant to join the team.
The role is an outstanding opportunity for a career driven Assistant Accountant as it offers full study support and a development plan to move into a commercially focused Management Accounts role within the finance team.

The Job
Preparation of the monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Journals, accruals and prepayments
Oversee the sales ledger and purchase ledger
Support with business partnering across the business
Working with commercial and operational teams to understand financial activity
Support budgeting and financial reporting
Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting of key variances to management, working closely with commercial and operational teams.
Assist with Analysis of P&L variances
Assistance with annual external audit
Other ad-hoc duties and cover for team members as required
The successful candidate will:
Be studying towards a qualification – ACA, CIMA or ACCA or be AAT Qualified and looking to take the next steps
Commercially astute
Driven to improve processes and improved ways of working
Driven and motivated
Strong Excel skills
Strong communication skills – able to build relationships and work collaboratively
Organised and able to work accurately
Professional and engaging
