Description
The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports to support business planning.
Analyse variances and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate and timely data.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting processes.
Monitor cash flow and recommend strategies for optimisation.
Assist in preparing presentations for senior management.
Provide support during audits by liaising with external auditors and ensuring records are accurate.Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
Ideally working towards recognised qualification in accounting or finance or suitably qualified by experience
Proven experience in management accounting within the FMCG industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
