The Company
Axon Moore is exclusively partnering with a fast growing, well-known FMCG business in Central Manchester. Due to continued growth they require an ambitious Management Accountant to join their finance team in Manchester.
Salary – Circa £40,000
Location – Central Manchester
Hybrid – 3 days in 2 working from home.
Responsibilities will include:
Assist with the production of accurate management accounts and financial information for the relevant areas, in a timely manner.
Assist the Team in the preparation of the annual budget & subsequent Q1, Q2, Q3 forecasts.
Propose and agree periodic forecast changes with the Finance Business Partner/Finance Manager.
Provide financial support to stakeholders with understanding of the financial implications of business decisions. This will be through the production of ad hoc & non-standard analysis, modelling, business case production and ongoing tracking of business performance.
Provide challenge to the business with the aim of controlling costs.
Ensure all applicable balance sheet reconciliations are completed in line with periodic deadlines with full detail of support for the balances.
Person Specification:
Advanced Excel skills.
ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified.
Broad experience of using standard accounting/ERP systems.
Must be able to work under own initiative and effectively manage their own workload and that of their team.
