The Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Management Accountant to join a collaborative finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll provide accurate, timely, and insightful reporting that supports decision-making across the wider business.
This role will support the retail teams with clear and insightful financial information to help drive performance and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide robust financial control while developing effective relationships across retail operations and marketing teams to deliver support and actionable insights.
Prepare periodic management accounts with detailed variance analysis for review by finance leadership and key stakeholders in retail and marketing.
Execute department balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Contribute to the preparation of forecasts and budgets, measuring performance for store retail costs, marketing spend, and head office functions.
Compile and distribute weekly reports that enhance decision-making for the business.
Deliver insightful analysis to help operational and marketing teams understand cost drivers and proactively challenge areas of underperformance.
Support team members and wider business with ad hoc duties as requiredAbout You:
Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) preferred but not essential.
Strong commercial awareness with a keen eye for process improvement and value creation.
Proactive, inquisitive mindset with a clear sense of accountability.
Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL/Azure is desirable.
Previous exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be an advantageWhat's on Offer:
