Job Description
Are you a qualified or part-qualified accountant seeking a new challenge? An established organisation in its sector is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £38,000 alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
In this Management Accountant role, your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting senior finance colleagues by preparing and reviewing financial management reports
Analysing financial information to highlight trends and provide insights to aid strategic decisions
Assisting in the creation and maintenance of budgets and forecasts to support effective financial planning
Collaborating with various teams to monitor spending and suggest efficiency improvements
Ensuring adherence to financial policies and relevant regulatory requirements
Helping with statutory financial statement preparation and assisting with audit activities
Identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance internal controlsTo be successful in this position, you will ideally possess:
A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or be part-qualified and progressing towards completion
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to communicate financial data clearly to diverse audiences
Experience with financial software systems and advanced skills in Excel
A meticulous and proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
A valid driver’s licence as the role requires the ability to travel independentlyThis Management Accountant role is based in a location easily commutable from Malton, Pickering, Helmsley, Norton-on-Derwent, and Kirkbymoorside. The organisation offers convenient on-site parking.
