Job Description
The Company
Axon Moore is exclusively partnering with a fast growing, professional services business in South Manchester. Due to continued growth they require a commercially astute Management Accountant with strong Excel skills to join their exciting team.
Salary – Circa £45,000
Location – South Manchester
Hybrid – 2 days in the office, 3 from home.
Responsibilities will include:
Weekly financial analysis and reporting of operational performance
Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and month end journal postings. Take ownership of the management accounts process including accruals, pre-payments and month end journals.
Bank reconciliations
Preparation Cash-flow control and forecasting
Assist in the production of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Partner with the Finance Manager to deliver budgets, forecasts & variance analysis.
Liaise with external auditors at year end
Monthly review of the debtors and creditors ledgers
Recommend and implement process and system changes
Preparing VAT returns
Provide assistance to other members of the finance team with Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger duties.
Assist in the development of the wider Finance team.
Person Specification:
Strong Excel skills.
ACCA/CIMA PQ/Finalist or QBE.
Must be IT literate and have detailed knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office products. The ability to use Excel to a high level is preferable.
Have a curious mind with an appetite to understand the key drivers of the business and use your finance skills to make an impactBefore You Apply
