Management Accountant| £45,000-£55,000 | Accrington | Flexible Working Hours | Progression Opportunities
Axon Moore is delighted to be working with a rapidly growing manufacturing business based in Accrington to recruit a Management Accountant to join its expanding finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified/finalist accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or someone making their first move from practice into industry.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
Financial reporting and board pack preparation
KPI tracking and commercial performance analysis
Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes
Identify and drive process improvements across finance systems
Provide ad-hoc financial support across the wider group
What We’re Looking For
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or finalist)
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Proactive and detail-oriented, with a commercial mindset
Excellent communication and Excel skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential)
