Job Description
Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Quantity Surveyor
My client, a well-established Main contractor are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyors and Managing Quantity Surveyors to join their team working on a variety of highways projects in the North West of England.
They have a strong pipeline of work in the North and these frameworks offer a diverse selection of schemes such as capital highway and infrastructure projects, public realm improvements, highway surfacing works, structures restoration, watercourse and marine works, flood resilience and light rail projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
* You will be responsible for the robust commercial management of a variety of projects. This includes overseeing financial performance, managing costs, conducting procurement processes, and maintaining accurate financial logs and reports.
* You will work closely with customers and stakeholders to support successful project delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and achieving business plan commitments.
* As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will lead multiple projects and manage a small team, ensuring their development and performance.
* As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee a framework or major project and lead your team to deliver high-quality commercial services.
You should bring
* Practical experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor in a civil engineering environment, working on multiple projects simultaneously.
* NEC Contracts experience is essential.
* Thorough knowledge of monitoring cost performance and effective contract administration.
* Evidence of building and maintaining effective relationships with teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Track record of successfully managing and delivering against deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Good level of IT proficiency to leverage technology for efficient project management and thorough knowledge of cost management software and toolsBefore You Apply
