Job Description
Are you a skilled CNC or Manual Miller with a passion for precision engineering? Involve Midlands are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a respected manufacturer looking to expand its machine shop team with a dedicated Miller who takes pride in producing high-quality components.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Setting and operating manual and CNC milling machines
Working from technical drawings to produce accurate machined parts
Performing quality checks with measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges)
Adjusting tooling and offsets to achieve tight tolerances
Maintaining machinery and ensuring a safe, clean working environment
What We're Looking For:
Experience with manual milling and/or CNC milling (Fanuc, Heidenhain, or similar)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Confident in using manual measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
Flexible, dependable, and able to work as part of a small, skilled team
