Maidenhead | Day Shift | £16.00 – £18.00 per hour + Overtime
Actio Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established engineering company based in Maidenhead, who are seeking an experienced Manual Miller to join their team on a permanent day shift.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for manual milling operations on a range of precision components. This is a hands-on engineering role in a skilled team and will also involve some tapping and deburring as part of the finishing process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate manual milling machines
* Read and work from technical drawings
* Measure and inspect components to tight tolerances
* Carry out tapping and deburring tasks
* Ensure quality and attention to detail at all times
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
About You:
* Previous experience as a Manual Miller in a precision engineering environment
* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Familiar with using a variety of measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, etc.)
* Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
* Good attention to detail and pride in your work
Hours & Pay:
* Day Shift (Standard day hours – no shifts)
* £16.00 – £18.00 per hour depending on experience
* Plenty of overtime available, paid at enhanced rates
