Job Title: Manufacturing and Recycling Supervisor / Instructor
Location: York - Centre based
Salary: up to £30,000 (Depending on experience and qualifications)
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Duties include:
To provide tailored, hands-on training and support to groups of learners within a workshop setting, who are gaining skills and experience in the fields of Manufacturing and Recycling.
Embedding of employability skills, and supporting with the delivery of Warehousing qualifications where required.
Conduct regular 1:1's and development meetings with your team, to uphold motivation and high standards of performance.
Conduct health and safety checks, administering safe work practices.
Creation of schedules and targets, ensuring production and contractual goals are met.
Work in partnership with the wider education team, to support your learners with their Employability and personal development skills.
Manage and audit inventory and stock levels, to meet training and production demands.
Completion of required documentation and reports.
Criteria:
The successful candidate must have experience of working within: Manufacturing; Warehousing; Logistics or Recycling - at supervisory level or above.
Experience of instructing, supervising or supporting colleagues within their role.
Must be familiar with Health and Safety processes.
Must possess strong leadership and organisational skills.
Possess a compassionate nature, to support vulnerable learners.
A passion for training and development.
Must possess strong administrative skills.Please note:
