Job Description

Our client, a leading firm in the manufacturing and engineering sector, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract role.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and developing tooling and fixtures using HyperMILL CAD/CAM packages
Programming, setting up, and operating multiaxis CNC machines, 
Ensuring the precision and accuracy of tooling for various manufacturing projects
Collaborating with engineering and production teams to optimise tooling designs and processes
Conducting troubleshooting and maintenance of tooling and CNC machinery
Providing technical support and training to colleagues as required
Maintaining documentation and records of tooling designs and modifications
Adhering to health and safety standards and quality control procedures

Job Requirements:

Experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of HyperMILL CAD/CAM packages
Experience in multiaxis CNC operation
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Strong communication and organisational skills
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience
