Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Shannon, Co. Clare
Salary: €45,000
Fantastic opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing manufacturer in Shannon, supporting both customers and suppliers while driving process improvements and lean initiatives across production.
I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation who are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in developing new processes, improving efficiency, and supporting the introduction of a new ERP system. This is an exciting chance to be part of a business that's scaling up and investing in innovation.
Responsibilities
Support production with process planning, design, and optimisation
Manufacture and validate prototypes before scaling to full production runs
Identify and implement cost reduction and efficiency improvements
Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Support the implementation of a new ERP system
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teamsRequirements
Experience in a manufacturing/industrial engineering environment
Lean Six Sigma training/certification (Green Belt or higher desirable)
Experience with process development, prototyping, and validation
Knowledge of ERP systems (implementation experience is a plus)
Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD etc.)This is a fantastic chance for a proactive engineer to take on a varied role with real responsibility in a company that is scaling up and investing in its operations.
