Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for driving manufacturing excellence? We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to take ownership of final assembly processes on complex designs and lead continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
Own and optimise final assembly equipment uptime and turbocharger assembly processes
Drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through APQP, PEP, and PPAP framework
Manage tooling systems, production setup sheets, and operator SOPs
Resolve 'run at rate' production issues with sustained engineering support
Champion Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards (IATF16949, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001)
Lead root cause analysis, kaizen activities, and problem-solving initiatives
Maintain and edit FMEA and Control Plans
Procure and maintain final assembly equipment and tooling in line with UK PUWER regulations
Modify tooling drawings to support process changes and improvements
Collaborate with OE plants and engineering teams during NPI correlation
Manage capital projects including proposals, budgeting, and cost control

Experience & Qualifications
Degree or equivalent in Engineering
Prior experience in manufacturing and product engineering
Strong Microsoft Office skills
