Manufacturing Engineer Location: Northampton Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Enhanced Pension Introduction Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer looking for your next challenge? This role is ideal for a Manufacturing Engineer with a background in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and project engineering, who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. Your Responsibilities As a Manufacturing Engineer you will: - Lead and deliver manufacturing improvement projects from concept to completion - Analyse and optimise production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs - Apply APQP, PPAP, and FMEA methodologies to ensure product quality and reliability - Use CAD software to design and refine production layouts and tooling - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and operations - Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery - Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of operational excellence This is a high-impact role where your contributions as a Manufacturing Engineer will directly influence productivity and profitability.
