Connect Appointments are recruiting an experienced and hands-on Manufacturing Manager to join our food production client in Bathgate.
What's on offer? A full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary of £40,000 to £43,000 (depending on experience), working a 4 on-4 off night shift pattern of 7pm to 7am.

Access to an Employee Assistance ProgrammeAs Manufacturing Manager, you'll lead a night shift production team in a busy food manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for delivering key KPIs across safety, quality, service, and cost - while also acting as the site's senior contact during out-of-hours operations.
Key responsibilities as a Manufacturing Manager include:
Leading and developing the night shift team to meet operational goals
Managing hygiene, changeovers, and shift handovers
Driving a strong safety and continuous improvement culture
Controlling raw material usage and operational costs
Supporting audits, investigations, and performance reportingTo be successful, you'll have:
Previous food production management experience is essential
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of food safety, H&S, and cost control
IT skills, including Excel and MRP/ERP systems (SAP experience desirable)
Food manufacturing, BRC standards, or bakery production - desirable
