Manufacturing Futures are currently looking to recruit a Manufacturing Manager for an already large and still expanding manufacturing business. The successful Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager will ensure KPIs are hit and exceeded whilst recommending process improvements, potential capex expenditures and delivering lean and CI training. You'll be the person to improve things for the better: see what needs doing and be the catalyst for positive change. Production Manager - Role and Responsibilities - Manufacturing Manager
- Manage a large team of engineers and operatives on production lines, ensuring all KPIs are hit and exceeded
- Managing production processes to meet both quantity and quality targets
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and material/cost savings
Production Manager - Skills and Abilities - Manufacturing Manager
- Experience within FMCG manufacturing, capable of working under pressure
- Happy to lead, develop and motivate a large team
- Capable of communicating on all levels, from shop floor to Directors
- Knowledge of different CI/lean techniques and a genuine commitment to lean as the right way to work
- Previous experience in a fast paced deadline centred J-I-T manufacturing facility
