£65,000 + car allowance and pension etc
About the Role
Are you an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a large-scale production team?
We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Operations Manager to take responsibility for driving performance at our busy manufacturing facility. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will lead daily production meetings and manage 5–6 direct reports, overseeing a workforce of over 150.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead daily production meetings and ensure alignment on safety, quality, engineering, and manufacturing objectives.
* Manage 5–6 direct reports and oversee a manufacturing workforce of over 150 in manufacturing.
* Optimise manufacturing resources, equipment, and processes to meet daily output goals.
* Set and uphold clear standards for manufacturing supervisors, developing their leadership skills and nurturing future talent.
* Support process improvements that reduce manual work and improve operator productivity.

Skills & Experience Required
* Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing facility.
* Technical background with the ability to understand engineering and maintenance issues.
* Experience running daily manufacturing meetings covering safety, quality, engineering, and production objectives.
* Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage manufacturing teams to achieve optimised production levels.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
