Up to £55,000 pa + Package

This is a long-established UK manufacturing business with a proud heritage and a reputation for engineering excellence. Operating internationally, the company specialises in delivering robust, high-specification mechanical solutions for critical infrastructure applications.
This growing business is seeking to appoint a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead the back-end production operations across a busy metals based manufacturing environment supplying into a number of critical sectors.
You'll be responsible for delivering on-time, on-quality, on-cost operations while embedding a high-performance culture of health & safety, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
What you'll be doing:
Leading a skilled team across a wide variety of manufacturing operations
Driving process improvement and compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
Managing schedules, KPIs, and materials to meet ambitious production goals
Coaching and developing people while supporting strategic growth initiatives
Support and build strategic plans for all areas of responsibility that enhance the growth of the business.
Collaborating cross-functionally to support efficiency and long-term successWhat you'll bring:
Proven leadership experience in metals-based manufacturing & assembly operations
Strong H&S awareness and experience managing hazardous and highly regulated processes
ERP knowledge (SAP a bonus) and confidence in detailed planning and performance metrics
