Production & Assembly Operatives – Temp to Perm – August 2026 Start Dates

Location: Rochdale
 Pay Rate: £12.74 per hour
 Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Working Hours Rotating Shifts (Monday to Friday) 6:00am – 2:00pm & 2:00pm – 10:00pm. Occasional 8:00am – 5:00pm shifts available.

The Role :

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives, Assembly Operatives, and Manufacturing Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Rochdale.

August 2026 starts are now available, with immediate opportunities for suitable candidates following a successful site induction.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in production, assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, or factory environments who are looking for long-term employment with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract.

Working as part of a busy production team, you will be responsible for assembling products, preparing materials, carrying out quality checks, and supporting the manufacturing process to ensure production targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and bond components to manufacturing specifications.
Prepare products through sanding, finishing, and other production processes.
Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
Operate safely within a manufacturing and production environment.
Support production lines to achieve daily output targets.
Complete general factory and assembly duties as required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area.
Follow all Health & Safety and quality procedures.
Skills & Experience

We're looking for candidates who have:

Previous experience as a Production Operative, Assembly Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative, Warehouse Operative, Machine Operative, or similar.
Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
A reliable, punctual, and positive attitude.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
Availability to attend a site induction before starting work.
