Job Description

Manufacturing Quality Engineer
 
 Location: Milton Keynes Area
 Salary: Up to £55,000

 Currently supporting a high-performance engineering business looking to bring in a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to strengthen their quality function.

 This is a hands-on role focused on driving internal quality, leading problem solving, and working closely across manufacturing, design, and supply chain.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing internal non-conformance processes across production
Leading problem solving activities using 8D and root cause analysis
Chairing cross-functional meetings to drive issue resolution
Supporting customer complaints and project quality activities
Conducting manufacturing and process audits
Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
Supporting development of quality processes and documentation
 Requirements:

Background in manufacturing or engineering environments
Strong experience with non-conformance and quality systems
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ideally IATF 16949
Experience leading problem solving activities (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa)
Ability to read technical drawings and work with process documentation
 Extra's:

Experience with Core Tools (PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA)
Audit experience or quality certifications
Exposure to ERP systems
