Talentmark are recruiting for a Manufacturing Scientist, on behalf of a medical diagnostic company.
This role will be based at their site in Gateshead and is a permanent role with Mon-Fri day time working hours.
The Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, your main responsibility will be to assist in the manufacture, filling, labelling and packaging of components.
Responsibilities:
To manufacture, fill, label and package kits and components, adhering to quality standards.
Assist in the manufacture of laboratory reagents such as antisera and buffers.
Set up production runs and produce consistent and reliable products.
Maintain daily stock control duties.
Work to GMP guidelines.
Essential Skills:
BSc within the life-sciences disciplines with relevant laboratory-based experience.
Adherence to Health & Safety, COSHH guidelines, and to the requirements of ISO13485.
Prior experience in a similar manufacturing environment would be desirable.
A good understanding of electrophoresis.
