If so, our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, is recruiting for a Manufacturing Supervisor for their site in Birmingham. The role will involve managing and implementing quality assurance and control systems to ensure proper execution of products and customer satisfaction.

Job Description
Managing machine performance using SMED principles to maximise output, minimise downtime, and reduce waste through accurate use of Thingtrax data.
Ensuring efficient labour utilisation aligned with sales and finance KPIs; proactively address gaps and escalating support requests to reduce costs.
Maintaining high quality output by enforcing SOP adherence, updating skills matrices, and escalating quality risks to management as needed.
Leading daily team communication, addressing performance, health & safety, and quality issues while following HR procedures for any staff concerns.
Owning housekeeping and 5S standards across production rows, auditing daily and implementing ongoing improvements to meet director-level expectations.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Experience of working in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience of working in an automotive manufacturing environment
While not essential, paint and injection moulding experience would be advantageous
