Manufacturing Support Technician
Location: Near Uxbridge (10-minute drive)
Salary: £40,000 – £43,000 per annum + excellent benefits
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Start Date: ASAP
We’re supporting a leading engineering and manufacturing business near Uxbridge with their search for a Manufacturing Support Technician. This role is vital in helping minimise production delays, supporting local leaders on the shop floor, and ensuring work progresses safely and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing
Diagnosing issues that cause production stops and deciding on quick fixes or deeper investigation
Carrying out minor reworks within your skillset
Liaising with engineering, quality control, and production teams to keep operations flowing
Checking stock, raising repicks, and ensuring tooling is in place at the right time
Supporting production planning tasks including splitting cards, raising new orders, and releasing jobs
Raising quality notifications and contributing to improvement projects
Assisting multiple departments to resolve problems quickly and reduce downtime
About you
Hands-on experience within manufacturing or assembly environments
Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across departments
Calm under pressure with good organisational ability
Self-motivated team player with the confidence to work independently when needed
Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage (training provided if not)
