Manufacturing Team Leader - Production Supervisor I am hiring now for an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader / Production Supervisor to join a well-established and highly respected manufacturing company that has its people at the heart of the business. Location - Staffordshire Salary - £36K to £45K depending on experience - Pension - Annual Leave - Cycle to work scheme - Health & wellbeing programme - Life insurance - Sick pay - On-site parking - Career progression Shift Pattern Week 1: Monday-Thursday 05:45-13:45 | Friday 05:45-12:45 Week 2: Monday-Thursday 14:00-22:00 | Friday 13:00-20:00 The Role As Manufacturing Team Leader / Production Supervisor / Production Team Leader, you will lead and supervise a team of welders, operators and programmers, coordinating daily production activities and ensuring departmental KPIs are achieved. Key responsibilities include: Lead and motivate the production team, managing daily targets, KPIs, quality and productivity. Ensure effective shift handovers. Maintain high standards of quality, health & safety and production efficiency. Deliver toolbox talks, daily checks, training and team development. Identify production issues, equipment problems and process inefficiencies. Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure production scanning, IT systems and records are accurately maintained. Maintain a clean, organised and efficient production environment.About You You will have previous experience as a Manufacturing Team Leader, Production Supervisor, Production Team Leader, Manufacturing Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Workshop Supervisor within a manufacturing, engineering or heavy industrial environment. You should have: Proven experience leading or supervising a manufacturing/production team. Strong technical and hands-on production knowledge. Experience in machining, welding, fabrication or engineering manufacturing would be advantageous. Good understanding of quality control, production processes and health & safety. Experience using manufacturing IT systems, scanning systems or production software. Strong leadership, communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
