Job Description
The Artisan Recruitment Group are looking for a Fitter/Mechanical Engineer in the Marine Industry for a contracator in Fareham area.
Working for a family run business, ideal candidate will be looking for a long time career with a view of going on direct.
Canidates must have:
* Level 3 in engineering (NVQ or similar)
* Have minimum of 5-year experience
* Driving License (or on route to getting it)
* Over the age of 21
* Able to pass SC clearance
Positive:
* Refits
* Propulsion (e.g removal and refit of shaft, couplands, propellers and bearings
* Overhaul valves
* Happy to work weekends within reason
* Think outside the box mentality
* Positive attitude.
* Able to take responsibility and report back to line manager
* Happy to learn to weld as they might be needed on the welding sideBefore You Apply
