Role: Marketing Assistant
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week
Salary: £12.82 - £14.35 an hour, weekly pay
Temporary position, Immediate Start
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join a well established client based in Welwyn Garden City, to support their marketing team.
Duties of a Marketing Assistant:
Assisting planning and creation of the marketing materials/activities, such as catalogues, web, display/POP, give-away items, tradeshows, training/presentations, PR, advertisement, and other promotional activities including case studies.
Support and coordinate all local marketing activities, involving the brand and the customers, manage the relationships with all internal teams and external parties (e.g. customers, partners, suppliers)
Proof-reading press releases, case studies and various written materials for UK
Support the organisation of customer events (e.g. roadshow, trade shows, fairs, factory visits, internal kick-off) in coordination with sales team and other marketing teammates.
Support the marketing team with administrative tasks as needed.
Manage seasonal promotions
What we would like from you:
Previous experience within marketing
Degree in marketing or similar degree
Good communication skills; written and verbal
Creative thinker with an eye for detail
Good understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X)
Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools (Canva, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, or similar)
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks or deadlines
