A Marketing Executive is required ideally based near Rochester in Kent, to manage business-to-business events and support digital marketing activities for a specialist technology provider. The role involves the full planning, coordination and delivery of exhibitions, conferences and self-hosted events across the UK and Europe, ensuring all activities deliver against agreed financial, lead generation and brand objectives. The position also plays a key part in maintaining and developing the company’s websites, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and optimised for search. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and global technology partners, combining strong event management skills with digital marketing expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Events:
*
Plan and manage the full calendar of B2B exhibitions, conferences, trade shows and self-hosted events.
*
Coordinate all pre-show logistics including stand design, layouts, graphics, and key message development.
*
Work with internal divisional teams and technology partners to align event participation and promotional activity.
*
Define success criteria and set measurable KPIs for each event.
*
Oversee event set-up and breakdown, including physical tasks such as packing, transporting and building exhibition stands (training provided).
*
Manage event promotion before, during and after each event across multiple digital channels in line with best practice.
*
Take ownership of event lead generation, ensuring accurate data capture and seamless integration with the CRM system.
*
Liaise with Business Development Managers to ensure all leads are followed up effectively.
*
Conduct post-event evaluation and success analysis with relevant stakeholders.
*
Maintain and organise exhibition equipment, stock and collateral on-site at the Rochester facility.
Website Management & Content Creation:

Maintain up-to-date and accurate content across all company websites.
*
Add news articles, blogs and industry updates to the website in line with marketing priorities.
*
Create and maintain product listings, ensuring technical data and descriptions are accurate and aligned with key franchise requirements.
*
Build and update landing pages in line with campaign strategy and SEO best practice.
*
Ensure all online product content supports e-commerce functionality, enabling smooth customer transactions.
*
Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure online enquiries are followed up promptly and recorded within the CRM.
*
Support the creation of printed and digital marketing collateral as needed.
*
Assist with producing marketing content for business review presentations with technology partners.
Experience & Skills Required

Knowledge of website content management, SEO and digital marketing tools.

Ability to translate technical product details into compelling marketing content.

Skilled in LinkedIn for business marketing and lead generation.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Comfortable working under pressure to deliver multiple projects.
*
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel with overnight stays as required.
What's on Offer

Salary :- £30,000 - £35,000, Travel Allowance & good benefits package.
Location :- Rochester - Kent based with UK & European Travel for events.
