Marketing Executive / Social Media Executive

Havant

Verto People are one of the fastest growing recruitment companies on the South Coast and have recently opened our first international office in Austin, Texas. Working closely with a Digital Marketing Executive in the marketing team, The Social Media Executive / Marketing Executive will take responsibility for social media, editing and filming social videos and branding across our 4 brands.

With a great reputation within the recruitment industry Verto People, we operate in the UK & US and our social media is very different to our competitors, we need someone else to build upon the marketing function internally. We are a 42-strong team and we want someone to integrate into the operations team and have a level of freedom to shape the marketing function as we re-brand this year.

Reporting into the Directors, the Marketing Executive / Social Media Executive will be defining, implementing, and executing the overall social marketing strategy, building across our four recruitment brands. This role will be office based, and offers an interesting environment to work in, check out our Instagram, LinkedIn & TikTok accounts.

Marketing Executive / Social Media Executive Duties

  * Working in a small team, be part of creating and running a 12 month integrated marketing plan for 4 of Verto People’s brands, working alongside the greater business and social media strategy

  * Creating social media content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn – ensuring Verto is seen as the best place to work in Portsmouth, Miami & Texas

  * Video editing, interviews, employer branding videos

  * Creating consultant collateral, e.g. client and candidate infographics

  * Scheduling and managing content calendar

  * Internal collateral for events e.g. brochures, programmes

  * Build monthly reports on social performance

  * Work with consultants on their LinkedIn personal brands

  * Update and manage website content

  * Filming sales days and assisting with the day to create and edit content to get out quickly after

What we’re looking for

  * At least 1 year experience in marketing / social media / content with evidence of your work

  * Confident filming people, editing and directing short-form video, using CapCut or similar programmes

  * Comfortable creating content in Canva/Adobe

  * Good understanding of LinkedIn, TikTok and Instagram

  * Someone proactive who brings ideas rather than waiting for briefs

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30 to 5pm & 8:30am to 4pm on a Friday

Package: £26,000 to £30,000 depending on experience
