Job Description
We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join a friendly team based in Whitby on a 9-Month Fixed-Term Contract.
You’ll play a key role in delivering engaging marketing activity that supports the overall business strategy, particularly around a love of great food!
Some of the Marketing Executive duties will be:
Be the main point of contact for our social media agency, handling daily queries and plans.
Help suggest copy and content for social posts to boost engagement with key influencers and grow our overall online presence.
Research and keep up with social media trends, applying them to grow our online community.
Assist in creating and delivering brand plans that support the business strategy.
Develop and produce marketing materials like brochures, presentations, sales aids, and trade adverts.
Manage all branded artwork and assets, working with external agencies from brief to final delivery.
Coordinate and publish newsletters and intranet updates with business news.
Look for new ideas and trends outside the business to bring fresh thinking.
Carry out ad-hoc research as needed.
Organise and attend product photography sessions.
Make sure brand activities are in line with Sales, NPD, and Operations.
Support the Sales & Marketing Director on key business projects when needed.We’re looking for someone who is:
Someone with either a marketing degree and a couple of years' experience, or several years of hands-on marketing experience without formal qualifications.
Creative and full of ideas.
Confident using Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
Passionate about food.This will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times, earning a salary between £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience.
