Mast Builder / Fitter
SYR are looking for an experienced Mast Builder to join the team for a great client of ours! We have an exciting opportunity with an Innovative Maritime Company in Holland!
They combine decades of engineering expertise, cutting-edge technologies & a unique manufacturing approach to excel in both cruising and racing domains.
This role is essential in ensuring high-quality installation and fitting on marine vessels.
You will be responsible for supporting on the build & installation of carbon fibre masts, maintaining high craftsmanship standards, and ensuring all work is done to a high standard.
As Mast fitter you work on carbon masts for luxury racing and cruising yachts. Your work consists of pre-mounting / fitting all parts on and in the mast.
You do this by measuring, drilling, grinding, milling, sawing, glueing and laminating according to supplied drawings and work instructions. The work is diverse and includes using various hand tools and machines.
* As Mast builder you are especially handy with tools, you have technical insight and are very accurate.
* You have an eye for detail and are eager to learn
* Experience in carbon fibre building, installation & fitting
* Composite boat building
* Good understanding of Infusion
* Good understanding of wet lay lamination
* Skilled in GRP, carbon fibre & laminate repairsBefore You Apply
