As a Master Technician, you’ll take the lead in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards. You’ll be the technical authority in your workshop, supporting and mentoring fellow Technicians, and ensuring every job leaves the ramp safe, efficient, and customer-ready. We’re also proud to be a certified Great Place to Work, where your skills and career will be valued, developed, and celebrated. ✨ Benefits You’ll Enjoy * Electric Vehicle – subject to T&Cs * 31 days annual leave, increasing to 35 with service (inclusive of Bank Holidays) * Access to the BHSF Health Cash Plan * Company pension scheme * Access to BHN Extras – shopping discounts, cycle scheme and much more * Discounts on car purchases, servicing and electric chargers via PodPoint * ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme * Health & Wellbeing support via Ben ✅ What you’ll be doing * Advanced Diagnostics & Repairs – Take the lead on complex fault-finding, electrical, and mechanical issues across a diverse vehicle range. * Technical Expertise – Act as the go-to technical specialist within the workshop, providing support and guidance to other Technicians. * Quality Assurance – Ensure all work meets Carbase and manufacturer standards, maintaining safety, accuracy, and efficiency. * Mentoring & Development – Help develop junior Technicians, sharing your knowledge and best practice to build a strong, skilled team. * Continuous Learning – Stay ahead of evolving vehicle technology through ongoing training and manufacturer updates. * Customer Focus – Ensure every vehicle that leaves the workshop meets the highest levels of quality and reliability. ✅ What you’ll need * Proven experience as a Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician * Strong background in diagnostics, fault-finding, and complex repairs * Confident in mentoring, leading by example, and supporting team development * NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair * Valid UK driving licence and clean record * MOT Tester qualification (desirable, not essential) ⭐ Why join Carbase? * Based at our Lympsham Auto Centre * Receive an Electric Vehicle benefit (subject to T&Cs) * Be part of a supportive, high-performing workshop team * Great Place to Work certified employer * Ongoing training, development, and progression opportunities
