Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Master Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a manufacturer-owned Car Dealer, located in Newport.

Strong on-target earnings of up to £45,000 per annum.
Overtime, subject to availability, paid at an enhanced rate.
22 days annual leave plus the 8 bank holidays, rising to 26 days with continued service.

Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
MOT Testing
Mentoring and developing fellow Workshop Technicians ensuring they’re progressing positively – especially Apprentices.
Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standardsRequirements:
A Fully Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Obtaining an active MOT Smart Card, or experience within PSA Vehicles would be highly advantageous.
A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
Dedicated and committed approach.
Your job as a Master Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
Your own toolsThe salary of this Master Vehicle Technician role is up to £38,766 basic.
Hours of work in this role consist of Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, with 1-in-2 Saturday mornings at 8:30am-12:30pm.
